We are available for any private charter needs. We cater for educational trips, research, acts of remembrance, photography, corporate events, group celebrations and more.
Private Charters
Charter us to create your own private boat tour in Waterford Harbour and the Hook Peninsula. You choose where you want to go and what you want to do, be it a trip up river to Waterford or across to Dunmore East.
Bring along a picnic or disembark for a bite to eat. We cater for corporate events, group tours, birthday parties, music events, stag and hen parties.
Acts of Remembrance
We offer respectful acts of remembrance, such as scattering of ashes or wreath laying. Scattering ashes over the sea can be a wonderful way to give a loved one a send-off – whether they were a sailor, a fisherman or they just loved and felt connected to the sea.
Our crew are sensitive to the special needs of our passengers. Your skipper will take you to the agreed area of choice and switch off the engine whilst the act takes place. The GPS position can also be provided.
Education / Research
At South East Charters we are passionate about the maritime heritage in our area. We know how how important it is to educate children on the marine environment, heritage and water safety. Aboard the Orinoco we can take school groups for a trip in the harbour and peninsula, point out wildlife and historical gems along the way. We are also available to charter for research groups and are fully equipped for all marine scientific and sampling services.
