Walter (Owner and Skipper)
Walter set sail on a new adventure when he founded South East Charters in 1996. With over 40 years of navigating the waves, he’s your go-to guy for anything boat-related! If Walter isn’t on a boat, he’s probably thinking about one—he’s that passionate about the sea.
His knowledge of the local waters, fishing secrets, and boat skills are legendary. And while he loves a good sea breeze and an exciting catch, his top priority is making sure everyone’s safe and sound on board. With Walter at the helm, you’re in for a fun, smooth, and unforgettable trip!
Hugh (Skipper)
Hugh is the kind of guy who’s been fishing longer than most of us have been walking! His love for the sea runs deep, and with his lifetime of fishing know-how, he’s the secret to our team’s success.
Whether it’s knowing the best fishing spots, understanding the marine environment like the back of his hand, or making sure everything runs smoothly and safely, Hugh has it covered. With him around, you know every trip will be a perfect mix of precision, passion, and plenty of fun!
Nadia (Crew)
Nadia combines exceptional seamanship with a warm, and compassionate approach to every journey. Her passion for the sea is matched only by her dedication to making sure everyone has a fantastic time.
If you’re looking for an extra twist on your journey, Nadia is fluent in Irish and would be more than happy to guide you through the adventure as Gaeilge! Just let us know if you’d like to experience the journey in the Irish language.
